Chris Bishop Joins Blue Chip as Senior Vice President & Partner

Blue Chip Surgical is pleased to announce that Chris Bishop has joined the company as a Partner and Senior Vice President, Acquisitions and Business Development. He will be responsible for all business development activities, including optimizing performance at ASCs currently within the Blue Chip network and acquiring and “turning around” underperforming and underutilized surgery centers.

“Blue Chip has built an excellent team and I am privileged to have the opportunity to join them,” Mr. Bishop said. “It has become a real passion of mine to collaborate with surgeon-owners around the country and assist them in fully realizing the value proposition of their surgery centers.”

Prior to joining Blue Chip, Chris served as Vice President, Acquisitions & Development with ASCOA, a role he held for five years. He also has extensive leadership experience and proven track record in building physician partnerships within the orthopedic medical device industry. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University.
