Innovative Crane Creek SC Partners with Blue Chip

Blue Chip Surgical Center Partners is pleased to announce its partnership with Crane Creek Surgery Center in Melbourne, Florida. Crane Creek is a multi-specialty surgical center, offering outpatient care in orthopedics, pain, spine, ENT, general surgery, podiatry and urology. The surgeon-owners, including spine surgeon Richard A. Hynes, MD, FACS, have earned a reputation in the industry for excellence and innovation in outpatient spine care.

"The future at Crane Creek looks even brighter now that we have partnered with Blue Chip," said Dr. Hynes, who also serves as president of Crane Creek Surgery Center. The 14,000-square foot facility opened in October 2009 and boasts four operating rooms. About 4,000 patients per year visit Crane Creek for care.

Effective July 1, 2010, the agreement between Crane Creek Surgery Center and Blue Chip stipulates that the physicians retain a 75% ownership stake.
