Spine-Focused ASC in Athens, GA

Blue Chip Surgical Center Partners is pleased to announce the launch of Georgia Spine Surgery Center, LLC, a new spine-focused surgery center business in Athens, GA.

“Because spine surgery centers offer a quality patient experience and excellent treatment environment, they offer an excellent value proposition for surgeons,” says Jay Rom, President and CFO, Blue Chip Surgical Center Partners. “We are excited to partner with distinguished surgeons in launching this new center.”

Initial plans call for an 8,000-square-foot facility, with two operating rooms, to open in sometime in 2011. The ownership group consists of three surgeons and Blue Chip, which owns a minority stake.
